YTL's long-term view pays off.

YTL Corp set the benchmark in the last collective sale fever when it purchased Westwood Apartments en bloc for $435 million in November 2007. The purchase price translated into a land rate of $2,525 psf per plot ratio (ppr) and is still a record for a collective sale site.

Even though the property market cratered in recent years, YTL went ahead to redevelop the prime freehold site at the corner of Orchard Boulevard and Orchard Spring Lane into the 77-unit luxury project, 3 Orchard by-the-Park. The Gentleman of Design - ARCHITECT & DESIGNER

Antonio Citterio is an Italian architect, furniture designer and industrial designer.

From 1987 to 1996 worked in association with Terry Dwan, designing buildings in Europe and Japan. In 2000, the firm works internationally, developing complex projects on all scales in collaboration with a qualified network of specialist consultants.

Antonio Citterio currently works in the industrial design sector with companies such as Ansorg, Arclinea, Axor-Hansgrohe, B&B Italia, Flexform, Flos, Hermès, Iittala, Kartell, Maxalto, Sanitec (Geberit Group), Technogym and Vitra.

In 1987 and in 1994 Antonio Citterio was awarded the "Compasso d’Oro" prize. From 2006 to 2016 has been professor of Architectural Design at the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio (Switzerland). In 2008 the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce of London awarded him the title of "Honorary Royal Designer for Industry"
